Each box is carved by hand from wood, with a lid that slides open over a cut-work window bearing our logo. It takes real time and care to make, so only the first 100 orders will arrive in one.

How much do you know your loved one?

Think of the person you're buying for. It can be your partner, your mother, your best friend or you. Answer honestly and we'll show you the print that suits them.

Laal Dupatta starts with a person, and the print follows. Every design is drawn for one kind of personality, which is why no two look alike. You know them, and we've done the choosing.

Then came the cloth. We searched for three years before we found it: a viscose cotton blend, one of the softest materials you can wear against your skin. It soaks up moisture quickly, so it stays comfortable in heat, humidity or rain, and it is warm enough to throw over your shoulders when you step out into the cold.
